The Way Out

the lowest of lows 

is not a nice place to be

it's dark there

full of only pain

and self-deprecation

the lowest of lows

is wishing for the end

for uncaring, unliving

because caring, living, loving

is too, too hard

it hurts too much

there's one way out

the only viable way

is denying the pain

any place in you

believing in a plan

and in love

the only way is to

defy all demons

inside and out

to say only

"I am beautiful"

and

"I am worth it"
